Want to Instruct with FARA? Here’s What It Takes

FARA is raising the bar for high-performance driver education. As our Academy continues to grow, so does our responsibility to deliver a consistent, safe, and high-quality experience for every student—on every lap.

That’s why all FARA Academy instructors must now hold an MSF Level 2 Certification.

This nationally recognized credential ensures our instructors meet the highest standards in safety, communication, and on-track coaching. It’s no longer enough to “know the line”—our instructors must know how to teach it, adapt to different student personalities, and maintain full control in every situation.

Why We Demand More

Our instructors carry more than just radios—they carry the responsibility of shaping the next generation of drivers.
We expect:

  • Leadership on and off the track

  • Clarity, confidence, and professionalism in the right seat

  • The ability to teach progression—not just the racing line

Our HPDE students rely on FARA instructors to help them build real skills—including vision, awareness, safety protocol, car control, and judgment. That’s what prepares them to move up through the ranks—not lap times.

Better instruction = safer events = a stronger FARA community.

Already An Experienced Instructor? You’ve Got Options.

❗ Instructor Policy Reminder

“I own a race team—can I instruct my client?”
Short answer: No.
To sit right seat with any FARA student, you must be MSF Level 2 certified or receive explicit pre-approval as a private instructor before the event.
No exceptions.

We take the safety and enjoyment of all FARA drivers and students seriously. This isn’t just policy—it’s our responsibility to the entire paddock.
